From the A1 South

Take the A697 turn off immediately after Morpeth. Follow this road through Longhorsley (after 5 miles), then another 2.5 miles to Weldon Bridge, at the bottom of a steep hill in the River Coquet valley. Rothbury is signposted left at Weldon Bridge on the B6344. Rothbury is approximately 7 miles along this beautiful winding road. On entering Rothbury, take the first large street on the left, this is Bridge Street. Follow the road over the bridge, take the first left, Station Road. The Riverside Lodge is the first building on the left, approximately 50 metres from the bridge.
